13/8- Cerosa Monastery just outside of Florence - we did a tour and then had dinner on the next hill - the restaurant we went to supports the four monks remaining in the monastery, by cooking their food - the oldest monk is 95 and has been in that monastery since he was 25, and they have virtually no contact with the outside!
